The goal of the Cyber Intelligence group is to identify, assess, track, and combat cyber threats that pose a significant risk to Capital One.
These include relevant threat intelligence, cyber-enabled fraud, and digital attacks on Capital One Financial brand and customers.
Responsibilities:
Lead an organization that includes Threat Intelligence, Cyber Fraud and Brand Defense.
Develop and build out additional program capabilities within the Cyber Intelligence organization.
Lead a cross-functional and technically oriented team of intelligence, fraud and operations professionals tasked with maintaining awareness of the cyber threat landscape to meet the needs of multiple enterprise lines of business.
Develop key integration and success metrics and reporting framework to report to key stakeholdersEstablish close working relationships with enterprise fraud teams, corporate security, communications, legal, brand and other lines of business.
Leverage these relationships to provide strategic planning for intelligence reporting and consistent streams of information sharing to those leaders.
Serve as a member of the Cyber Operations & Intelligence Leadership TeamProvide guidance and direction to analysts that identify patterns & trends within attack and incident data for predictive analysis and strategic forecasting on Capital One's cyber threat landscape.
Provide insight and recommendations on latest cybersecurity threats to the Cyber Senior Leadership team.
Set strategic direction and career pathing for direct reports.
This is a leadership role on a high-tempo team.
To be successful in this role, you must be willing to participate in after-hours support of security incidents and/or threat activity which may involve work during non-standard hours when necessary.
About You:
You have expert knowledge of the cyber threat landscape (including financial crimes) and the ability to communicate those threats to senior leadership.
You have advanced understanding of indicators, tools and tactics utilized by cyber adversaries and fraud actors, and mitigation strategies.
You have a proven ability to lead and grow a multifunctional cybersecurity organization.
You are experienced in leading transformational change programs.
You are a coach and mentor with the ability to drive improvement and high potential development in others.
You are adept at critical thinking, writing, and briefing.
Basic QualificationBachelor's Degree At least 9 years of experience in cybersecurity, intelligence and financial crimes At least 7 years of people management experiencePreferred
Qualifications:
Master's degree7
years of hands-on and leadership experience in cyber security and financial crimes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
